Creating an event on BookMeIn.Events is simple. Follow these steps:
- Go to the dashboard via the "Dashboard" option in the left sidebar.
- Click the "Create Event" button (in orange).
💡 Pro Tips:
- Complete all fields marked with an asterisk (*).
- Use descriptive names and summaries to enhance appeal.
- Select relevant tags for better discoverability.
- For virtual events, ensure the meeting link via Zoom, Google Meet etc. is ready before creation.
Name (Required)
- Provide a unique, descriptive event name for easy identification.
Summary (Required)
- Offer a concise description to quickly convey your event's purpose. This summary will be visible on the landing page.
Timezone
- Choose the correct timezone; default is Europe/Vienna.
Begin at
- Set the start date and time (Format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM).
Category (Required)
- Pick a fitting category (e.g., Sports & Nutrition).
Tags (Required)
- Add tags for better organization. Create new tags by clicking "+ New Tag".
Fill in additional fields:
Duration
- Unit: Select time unit (Hours, Days, etc.).
- Duration: Indicate event length.
Type (Required)
- Choose the event format: In-Person, Virtual, Hybrid, or To-Be Announced.
Unlimited Participants
- Enable this for digital events without guest limits.
Attendance (Required)
- Specify maximum participants if "Unlimited Participants" is disabled.
Link (Required for Virtual events)
- Provide the event link (e.g., meeting URL, registration page).
Step 3: Preview the Event
A live preview will display the event date, time, name, summary, category, and tags.
Step 4: Finalize and Create
- Review all entries.
- With all required fields filled, the "Create Event" button activates.
- Click "Create Event" to save.
- Post-creation, further customize with tickets, images, and more details.
